What are the age and height requirements for go-kart racing?
Pro Racers (Ages 14+): Minimum height 62 inches and maximum weight 300 lbs. Cadet Racers (Ages 8-13): Minimum height 54 inches, maximum height 62 inches, and maximum weight 250 lbs. For more details on karting, visit our (insert Go-Kart page link). Be sure to check before you race!
What should I wear to race?
Closed-toe shoes are required (No Crocs, sandals, or flip-flops). Wear comfortable clothing (nothing too loose). Remove all loose jewelry before racing.
Can I race with long hair?
For safety, hair must not extend below the waistline. We recommend tying it back securely.
Can adults race in the Cadet races?
No, adults cannot race in the Cadet category, even if they meet the height and weight requirements.
What is the speed of the go-karts?
Pro karts: Up to 35 mph. Cadet karts: Up to 25 mph.
Can Pro and Cadets race together?
No, Cadets and Pros race in separate heats for safety reasons.
Can I bring my own helmet?
Helmets are provided, but if you bring your own, it must meet safety regulations.
Can you consume alcohol prior to racing?
No, due to safety regulations and the safety of all staff and patrons, no alcohol can be consumed prior to these activities.
Do you provide safety gear for go-karting?
Yes, all racers are required to wear helmets, which are provided by Elev8 Fun.
Can I purchase a go-kart membership?
Yes! We offer memberships that provide discounts on races and exclusive perks. Ask at the front desk for details.
