Family entertainment center, Elev8 Fun Sanford, now open

State-of-the-art attraction features more than 125,000 square feet, 2 floors of fun

SANFORD, Fla. —You might have thought Central Florida had its share of fun attractions, but a new Sanford family entertainment center is taking it to the next level.

Elev8 Fun is now open at the Seminole Towne Center mall, inside the former Sears. The space features more than 125,000 square feet and two floors of thrilling fun for families and the community.

“We’re so excited to be part of the Sanford community,” said David Goldfarb, president and founder of PrimeTime Amusements, a partner in the Elev8 Fun project. “We hope that this concept can take a formerly unused space and turn it into a go-to place for everyone from families to young couples to companies looking for a fun outing. We can’t wait to show off all of our awesome attractions.”

Those attractions include just about every kind of entertainment you can think of, from a custom-designed, state-of-the art go-kart track to an arcade with more than 200 vintage and modern games, simulators and more. Elev8 Fun also features 5,000 square feet of laser tag space, 12 bowling lanes and a ropes course.

When patrons have worked up an appetite, Elev8 Fun has the answer. The family entertainment center has a full-service restaurant and multiple bars with an extensive menu. In addition, the entertainment center includes meeting rooms and private event space for everything from birthday parties to company retreats and holiday parties.

The Sanford location will serve as the concept’s flagship, but there are plans to grow Elev8 Fun across the state, filling empty space in shopping malls to create experiential community destinations.
